This browser is aimed at video, javascript code, and rich media content along with text. It is also open source and allegedly very fast loading. It is set for release on Tuesday, September 2nd, 2008.

Among Chrome’s features is a special privacy mode that lets users create an “incognito” window where “nothing that occurs in that window is ever logged on your computer.” This is a read-only feature with access to one’s bookmarks of favorite sites.

Google Chrome is a major smack in the face to Firefox, and the upcoming IE8 from Microsoft. Something tells me Google is taking over the interwebs. Amazing dominance.
