How To Create An Affiliate Niche Site
Want to follow along as I create my next niche affiliate site and witness the beautiful journey of a site go from zero to hero? If so, leave a comment below and if enough interested parties raise their hand – off we go.
Essentially the site is already created, but it’s fairly new at just under a month old. It’s on a niche I’m quite familiar with and have previously created two sites on. It has already made its first few sales and is getting regular daily traffic.
First, you must sign up below and tell me you’re interested in following along and then you MUST also ask a question. Any question on niche affiliate sites.
You will learn the following about my latest and greatest affiliate niche site:
WordPress theme I use
WordPress plugins I use
Niche strategy
Keyword strategy
Backlink strategy
Content strategy
Affiliate networks I use
and more…
Want to learn how to create an affiliate niche site? Let me know below by leaving a comment and asking your burning question(s) about the topic.
This is a great opportunity for you to create something BIG and awesome in 2011 that will reap benefits far beyond your wildest expectations.
Lets do it together.
UPDATE: The idea is to create a small exclusive mastermind group that we can all benefit from and feed off of. The group will focus on affiliate niche site creation, promotion and optimization. If you want in, tell me below. A small introduction of who you are, how you found me and what you seek would be ideal.

I’m in, Missy!
I am in information overload mode, and have just deleted a bunch of feeds and rubbish that I spend so much time on. I have kept yours because I always enjoy what you have to offer and it helps.
I would like to stop dorking around with Internet marketing and either make it into something worthwhile or quit thinking about it.
The long and short of it is that I would love to follow along and look over your shoulder……

@Asim:
I quite like Amazon because they CONVERT REALLY REALLY WELL. Atleast in the niches I’ve used them on.
Aside from Amazon, I also use CJ and I absolutely love love Shareasale. They have a simple yet useful interface and a good assortment of merchants. I always try and find a way to use them.
By the way, how did you find me? Or how do you know me or my site?
Cheers,

Hi Missy,
I found your site while searching for t shirt blogs and found your article on the tweet this t shirt (which incidentally I have also created an article using the same t shirt as I love the design.) I am trying various affiliates including the ones that you mentioned. Do you find amazon works better with text links.

Hi Missy,
The site was developed last September and it is only in the last 6 weeks I have been taking it seriosly. It has made abit of money on adsense in the past but nothing on affiliate links yet. I only started putting in affiliate links into the site in December. The traffic is increasing and it is in page 1 in google for it’s main search term. How long from developing a site do you normally start making money.

@ Asim:
Congrats on getting started! Just the fact that you registered a domain name, picked a niche and created the site is a solid foundation from which to now build on.
Next logical steps would be to make revenue via your traffic. That’s the fun part and what we will discuss via our exclusive mastermind group on niche affiliate sites.
But keep asking your questions. Cheers!

Hi, Tag Monaco Watch: (what funny name you have?)
I’m planning to introduce a small exclusive niche group (maybe a Google group) where we can toss ideas of each other and build our niche sites together in. Thinking of starting it in the beginning of February, but not 100% sure. Still in the planning stages.
What burning questions do you have on the topic of affiliate niche sites? Let me know below. And feel free to share your name and a bit about yourself. Cheers!

Hi, sZenny:
I have never used either of the two eBay platforms you mention above so can’t recommend one over the other. However I have used a free WordPress plugin called WORDBAY which is pretty cool and essentially uses the eBay API to call up products on your blog.
See an example here: http://www.christmasdecorforthehome.com/about
Try Wordbay (google it) and see how it works for you. Cheers!
