Yes, Missy Yahoo! Answers is good because people can search for your answers. Though you’ve answered lets say one question, many could be able to search for it and click the link for your site.

Hey, Pat: I’ve figured out how you got the sales on TS HQ. I took a good look at your backlinks and see the referrals now. Good job! Yahoo Answers…does seem like a marketing gold mine, doesn’t it?

Because I build them both the same, unique content, pretty much the same amount of backlinks. I attribute a lot of it to the domain name, maybe I am wrong, but I would not go for the search term at the end again in case I build a niche site.

It’s already listed. Current bid: $205 BIN: $20,000 (reserve in the mid to high $x,xxx) depending on the market. If I don’t reach the reserve I’m happy keeping it.

Yeah but how do you know that the second blog is not ranking well, due to its domain name and not something else? It could be the links pointing to it, the quantity, on site stuff, offsite stuff, etc.

Why do you attribute the lack of ranking to domain name?
