Cell Phone Early Termination Fees Illegal?
This is a quick update, to let you know that Yahoo just revealed that in California, a superior court judge is trying to outlaw those massive early termination fees imposed by most cell phone carriers. I hope this new law gets passed, as cell phone early temination fees are ridiculous. Go Arnold.
It will be interestig to see how they make up for this fee, in the price of cell phones and plans. I’m sure they plan to get ther money somehow. I think these fees are oudated, and they need to be done away with.
They try to lock you into a 2 year contract, and by the end of the term, you have a cell phone older than dirt. (see pic above) Jeez! C’mon Sprint, T Mobile, ATT and Verizon – get with the program.
